2015 Churton Sauvignon Blanc
|Region||North Canterbury, NZ|
|Status||Certified Organic and Biodynamic with BioGro|
Churton is a small Marlborough winery in the Waihopai Valley, established by Sam and Mandy Weaver in 1997. From site selection and biodynamic practices through to low intervention winemaking, Churton produces exceptional terroir driven wines. Their winemaking is focused on producing premium quality Sauvignon Blanc, Viognier, Pinot Noir and very small quantities of Petit Manseng that combine the renowned flavour and aromatic intensity of Marlborough fruit with the finesse and complexity characteristic of fine European wines.
|Wine||This is a complex wine where length and flavour persistence trumps upfront fruit. Aromas of white flowers: orange blossom and jasmine lead to a richly layered and textured palate. Elegance underpins Churton’s hallmark seam of minerality and the long finish is lively with white peach and melon. (Vegan-friendly)|
