Denmark is 400 km south of Perth within the Great Southern Wine Region. ‘Giving a nature freehand’ is the philosophy behind Matt Eastwell’s grape growing and winemaking. The grapes are organic and biodynamically grown without synthetic chemical, but with maximum hands-on attention, winemaking is minimal intervention and made preservative free.

WineHandpicked and the majority of fermentation taking place in wax lined concrete. The skins and juice are drained and gently pressed through a hand operated basket press to barrel. Barrel aged for 24 months, bottled without fining or filtration. This is a luscious full-bodied wine with dark fruits, chocolate and leathery notes. Blackberry and plum, pencil shavings and cedar are nicely balanced with acidity. (Vegan-friendly)
