About | The Bosworth family vineyards have been established since the early 1840’s and were the first McLaren Vale winery to release an organic wine. Passionate vintners Joch Bosworth and Louise Helmsley-Smith commenced conversion to organic viticulture in 1995 and certification by Australian Certified Organic (ACO) achieved in 1999. The wines take their name from the original Battle of Bosworth, fought on Bosworth Field, Leicestershire, England in 1485. Battle of Bosworth wines are single estate wines made with purity and balance. Spring Seed Wine Co is the alternative label to Battle of Bosworth. We love the wine labels, based on vintage seed packets, but we also love the intense flavour profiles, indicative of high quality fruit and winemaking. |
