The Bosworth family vineyards have been established since the early 1840’s and were the first McLaren Vale winery to release an organic wine. Passionate vintners Joch Bosworth and Louise Helmsley-Smith commenced conversion to organic viticulture in 1995 and certification by Australian Certified Organic (ACO) achieved in 1999. The wines take their name from the original Battle of Bosworth, fought on Bosworth Field, Leicestershire, England in 1485. Battle of Bosworth wines are single estate wines made with purity and balance.

|Wine||A blend of Touriga Nacional (from Portugal), Graciano (from Rioja) and Mclaren Vale Shiraz. Fruit were fermented separately in open fermenters. Some batches received time in old oak. Bergamot, blueberries and spices on the nose. The acidity lifts off the vibrant core of berries and the firm tannins give this shape. It is an incredibly lively wine with long, light, fine and bright tannins and a freshness on the finish which is delicious. Has plenty of zip and flavour.|
|Tasting Note||Blue fruits - Spice - Medium Tannins|
