2018 Pig in the House Rosé

Pig In The House vineyard is located 20 kilometers from Cowra in the beautiful Central Ranges of New South Wales. The vineyard was established in 1996 and is owned and managed by Jason and Rebecca O’Dea. The land was originally home to free range pigs. The owner of the property was very friendly with the pigs and they were allowed access to his house. The house that Jason and Rebecca now occupy with their 3 little pigs children
|Wine||A blend of Sangiovese with the slightest addition of Shiraz. The wine is made solely from free run juice and treated as an aromatic white in order to highlight the crisp, berry flavours. A small portion of the wine is fermenter in older, seasoned oak to build some complexity and texture.|
The wine was then blended with a touch (0.6%) of Shiraz which adding subtle complexity and underscoring the beautiful natural salmon pink colour.
