Owners Dudley Brown and Dr Irina Santiago are both mid-life converts to winegrowing and winemaking in Australia. Irina has earned a Masters and PhD in Sustainability in Viticulture and helped to establish the Sustainable Australian Winegrowing system. Dudley is highly involved in industry initiatives such as Scarce Earth, the McLaren Vale Water Plan, the McLaren Vale Geology Map and as a champion of independent retailers through Australia’s Best Wine Stores Competition.
Inkwell’s certified organic vineyards are sited on prized ‘Pirramimma Sandstone’ and “Ngaltinga’ geological formations. Their winemaking over fifteen vintages has been focused on a “handpicked, no additions” approach to best express their special site in their single-vineyard wines.

|Wine||This is orange wine. Citrus peel scents, some green herbs, dried apricot, ginger and bergamot. The palate is sweet-feeling while it’s a dry wine. It’s fresh, fun, easy to drink. |
