2020 True Faith Shiraz
|Producer||Vinden Headcase. Pokolbin, NSW|
The Vinden Headcase wines are Angus Vinden’s experimental limited releases, each wine named after a New Order song. The labels for this range is a close up photo of the winemaker, Angus Vinden. At a recent trade tasting with Angus (over zoom) he explained why a photograph of him is on the label. A photo of Angus will be taking every vintage with the aim of capturing photographic evidence of how Angus felt about that vintage. He reckons after 20 years he’ll be able to see how he ages – he’s only 30 now – what a great idea! The range of wines are all about drinkability and made to reflect their sense of place, his beloved Hunter Valley. Made in small quantities the 2020’s have already sold out at the winery.
